WHAT IS YOGA?
Yoga is a system of physical and mental practices that originated more than 6,000 years ago. Its purpose is to assist each one of us to achieve our highest potential, improve our health and discover joy through our connection with the mind, body and spirit. With yoga we can improve the quality of our lives by reducing the levels of stress and fatigue we carry in our bodies. We can live longer and better together.
DO I NEED A MAT?
Yes, please bring your own yoga mat. We try to keep a couple on hand in case, but always best to bring your own. You might also like to bring your own set of yoga blocks if you have them!
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
No need to sign up! Show up to your class on time and you can sign-in and pay your donation with cash or venmo to your teacher.
CAN I COME LATE TO CLASS?
We understand things happen! If the door is unlocked and you are able to enter, we welcome you to quietly come in, unroll your mat and join us for practice. However, showing up late for class is never ideal. Getting to class 10 minutes early gives you time to sign in, relax and prepare to practice yoga. Additionally, depending on the time/location of your class, some building’s doors will lock once class has begun and you will be unable to enter.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
Parking will vary from venue to venue. Please allot extra time to find parking before class.
